You'll Need:
A stretchy t-shirt (the bigger, the better)
Scissors
Choose your shirt:
You want something that's a bit stretchy and like I said, the bigger, the better. I found this shirt at Savers for $2.99 and knew it'd be perfect for a t-shirt scarf. It's a ladies medium, so it's not very big, but it's for Nimby anyway so it's ok.
Now... 3 quick steps to your scarf!
CUT:
Cut the shirt width wise into skinny strips. Make sure you cut all the way around the shirt so you have big loops of fabric. If your t-shirt doesn't have seams on the side, GREAT! If it does, no big deal, do it the same way :)
Your loops will be looking ugly at this stage, so don't panic!
STRETCH:
By gently stretching out the loops, the fabric will roll up and your loops will look stunning :)
