After many issues, FAILS, and hangups...
the {almost done} WARDROBE!
Oh, where to begin? Let's start on a great note: I love the wardrobe and it is pretty much exactly what I had imagined. I knew I wanted it to be black, I knew I wanted an upholstered back to create a little seat, I knew I wanted mirrored doors, and I knew I wanted bun feet for it. So I got everything I wanted, but I fought tooth and nail on every item.
The upholstered back piece was the most work, but the least frustrating.
The mirrors? FAIL, FAIL, FAIL! I cut them down myself and please dear lord, if you'll be attempting glass cutting any time soon practice a hundred times and then once you get the hang of it, practice a hundred more times!
The bun feet {need to be installed} held the entire project up, but being so stubborn, I refused to leave them out! After searching for the ones I wanted and paying the ridiculous price (I do splurge every now and then when I want something specific) they took 2 weeks to come and then when I got them, they weren't what I ordered. HA!
I can't decide whether the mirrors or the feet were the most frustrating part!
The upholstered back is definitely my favorite part. My love of upholstered headboards inspired this. I am completely head over heels for the bold print. LOUD is fun :)
So there it is. Couldn't contain myself any longer!!! Thanks for being so patient :)
