By adding a few drops of green food coloring to your favorite pancake recipe (if you don't have a favorite ASK! I have the best recipe EVER!) you can make a really fun and festive St. Patty's Day breakfast for your family!
Pour The Mix
Using a small ladle, pour three (or four!) small circles nice and close to each other. To make the stem, dribble a bit of mix down from between two leaves. It's that easy! You can make mini shamrocks or mega shamrocks. I'm of the "Go-Big-Or-Go-Home" school of thought, so... yeah.
Flip It, Flip It Good!
How does one flip a massive shamrock pancake? Very carefully! I used a placemat that I didn't particularly care for, just in case it melted.
"Diego, you're real good, and I'mma let you finish, but everyone knows placemats make great massive-pancake flippers!"
Now just pop it on a plate, cover it in pastic wrap, and freeze it for St. Patrick's Day morning! You can fancy it up with whipped cream and sprinkles or kiwi slices or whatever your kiddos want!
