My daughter's birthday is on St. Patrick's Day and we wanted to make something special to bring in to school. We've made a shamrock cake out of big heart shaped cake pans, but obviously that wouldn't work out so well as a classroom treat. As luck would have it, I happened to have a package of Reynold's heart shaped cupcake tins! Here is the result:
Although it rarely happens, tonight I had regrets about a recent purge. The victim? My cake decorating tools. I made it work without them by filling a baggie with the frosting and snipping off one of the bottom corners, but the entire time I was thinking "Seriously? What was the reason you got rid of those? It's not like they were taking up room. It's not like you don't have 5 birthdays a year in your house! UGH!"
Here are all 24 cupcakes. We used green sugar sprinkles to decorate. Too easy!
Now... how to transport them to school?!
I'll figure something out. I always do ;)
